Inner Balance is one of the few offices in London, ON offering on-site digital x-ray. High frequency technology allows us to perform x-ray examination for our patients while keeping their safety in mind. We are able to obtain high quality images at a significantly lower exposure dose compared to conventional x-rays.
X-Ray is an important tool in the quest for truly understanding a patient’s health concerns. Prior to beginning care it is valuable to have a complete picture of the patient and x-ray allows us to:

• Screen for pre existing or hereditary concerns
• Evaluate joint & disc integrity and spinal misalignment
• Rule out contraindications to care ( ie: pathology or fractures)
• Determine the severity of a patient’s condition
• Provide an accurate long-term outcome assessment
• Decide on the most appropriate methods of care
• Clarify need for referral to other health care providers
• Assess progress over time
• X-Ray is taken in a weight bearing position to fully substantiate the x-ray findings? Why? To understand the true stress when weight is on the spine.
